PhilippinesGetting to know and helping the community, as well as experiencing such a unique culture I'd never before seen was my favourite moment. The program had the biggest impact on my view on the world, and just how different some places can be. My advice is definitely volunteer, since you're helping people who need it most, and it's an overall great experience.

ThailandCan't even begin to explain how amazing my experience with BTT was! The 3 week trip was not only great value in terms of the places you stay, and travelling, but the amount of things you fit in to the 21 days is spectacular. Some of the places we visited I would never of even heard of if it wasn't for the company, and some of the friends you make along the way you know will be friends for life! I don't even know where to begin with our tour guide, Heart! He was just amazing, a lovely person who really loves his job and it totally shows the whole trip! He always made sure everyone was having the best time and you could always rely on him no matter what, he definitely made the trip for our group� I would 100% recommend BTT to any friends who are considering going to Thailand and I would book with them again without hesitation! X
Costa RicaI did the Costa Rica tour. Mari was our tour guide and went above and beyond. Her knowledge was incredible and the extra effort and care she put in daily was truly amazing and appreciated. She knew everything about the destinations, cuisine and culture. Truly was the best guide and especially being Ceoliac I never once felt uneasy of eating something as Mari was always there to make sure things were gluten free options and made sure I never felt left out and there was always options. Literally cannot say enough amazing things regarding our guide as Mari really did become like a friend on this trip. If anyone gets Mari as a tour guide they are truly lucky as I believe I had such a good time due to her energy and personality that was added.
Sri LankaSri Lanka was a total blast, thanks to Backpacking Tours and our fab guides, Dam and Sam! Superb attention to detail and heaps of local knowledge. Safe, fun, and totally engaging. You'd be daft not to book with them!
