DAY 1

Chiang Mai Arrival & Old Town Exploration

Welcome to Northern Thailand! Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you’ll check into your hotel in the historic Old Town - a perfect base for exploring the city’s most iconic temples and photogenic streets. In the afternoon, we’ll do a light walking tour, visiting sites like Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khantoke dinner with cultural performances - a great chance to connect with your fellow creators.

DAY 2

Sunrise Hike & City Vibes

An early start takes us on a 30-minute hike to Doi Pui Summit for one of Pascals favorite sunrise spots, with sweeping views perfect for both stills and video. On the way back, we’ll visit Doi Pui Village for breakfast and stop at the famous Doi Suthep temple. The afternoon is free for markets, street food, or exploring Chiang Mai’s vibrant lanes.

DAY 3

Chiang Mai to Pai

Today we begin our road trip into the mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop at Mok Fa Waterfall for a refreshing break. In Pai, check into the stylish Hotel des Artists and capture sunset at Pai Canyon.

DAY 4

Misty Sunrise in Pai

We head to Yun Lai Viewpoint before dawn for dreamy mist-and-drone footage. After breakfast back at the hotel, you can choose to visit hot springs, the bamboo bridge, or relax and enjoy Pai’s easygoing atmosphere while joining Pascal for a casual editing session or shot review. Evening is free to explore the night market.

DAY 5

Pai → Ban Jabo → Ban Rak Thai

Depart at 4:00 AM for a spectacular sunrise above the clouds at Ban Jabo. After coffee at a mountainside café, we continue to Ban Rak Thai - a Chinese (yet, in Thailand) mountain village famous for its lake and tea plantations. Check into the stunning Lee Wine Resort and capture golden hour over the lake.

DAY 6

Ban Rak Thai to Chiang Dao

Wake up to sunrise views from your room’s balcony (Sunrise time in this village is stunning - you won’t want to leave!). After breakfast and optional tea tasting or boat ride, we drive to Chiang Dao, checking into a mountain-view lodge. The rest of the day is relaxed, giving you time to edit footage or explore nearby nature.

DAY 7

Chiang Dao to Chiang Rai

Today’s highlight is the sunrise around Doi Chiang Dao. It’s a stunning mountain with perfect views. From there, we stop at Huai San Reservoir, where water appears to float over the road - great for some more shots. We continue to Chiang Rai and check into the Blue Lagoon Hotel for a relaxed evening.

DAY 8

Chiang Rai to Phu Chi Fah

Morning visit to the striking White Temple before continuing through scenic mountain roads to beautiful Phu Chi Fah. In the afternoon, settle into your mountain lodge near the viewpoint and enjoy some free time to take in the surroundings. Dinner is a Thai BBQ (Moo Kata) served under the stars.

DAY 9

Sunrise at Phu Chi Fah & Doi Pha Tang

A pre-dawn start for the famous Phu Chi Fah sunrise hike (~ 30min). Capture the sunrise shoulder-to-shoulder with Pascal and the group. After a yummy Thai-mountain breakfast, we drive to the Doi Pha Tang area, where we stay in a camp to be close to tomorrow’s sunrise spot. Evening is free to rest.

DAY 10

Sunrise at Doi Pha Tang & Return to Chiang Mai

In the morning, we take another short sunrise hike of around 30 minutes to Doi Pha Tang, where stunning views of misty valleys and golden peaks await. After breakfast, we drive back toward Chiang Mai, stopping at Akha FarmVille for coffee and photos. On arrival, check in to the hotel before a farewell dinner to celebrate the journey.

Chiang Mai Last Day
