Just be prepared to get stuck in, work as a team and soak up every moment. I had the pleasure of working alongside fellow volunteers who I remain in contact with. We all share the desire to return to the island to meet again. Be prepared to meet people who will make you a better person :)

Volunteer Teaching: Cape Verde

Join our global team to boost English proficiency and broaden horizons for children in a Cape Verde community. With 290 students and limited resources, your involvement can make a lasting difference. Empower these children, often from single-parent households and large families, to overcome economic challenges and thrive with strong family bonds and an enriched education. Make an impact and have fun doing it!

The Program

Monday-Friday: Engage in lively English-teaching at a kindergarten and primary school using board games, playdough, and coloring. Boost teamwork with games and physical education, explore colors, shapes, numbers, and alphabets. Enhance learning with outdoor activities, short stories, poems, and songs. Share your culture and geography, plan lessons, and maintain a file for smooth handovers. Make learning fun and impactful!
