Day 1

Welcome to your New Home

Get ready to be greeted with a warm Balinese welcome by our transfer coordinator! Picture this: You step off the plane and make your way to the meeting point, where our coordinator will be eagerly awaiting your arrival. From there, they'll whisk you away to your accommodation while filling you in on all the exciting adventures in store for the next few days. It's the perfect start to your Bali adventure!

Day 2 - 6

Construction & Renovation

Kick-off Monday with a tasty breakfast, team up with your coordinator to plan an exciting project, and dive into a lively community meeting. From Tuesday to Friday, savour your morning freedom before engaging in hands-on construction and sprucing up local spaces. Unleash your creativity by designing colourful murals and artwork for kindergartens and primary schools. Embrace spontaneity as tasks adapt to needs and weather conditions.

Choose Your Own Adventure!

The weekend is time for you to spread your wings a little, if you’re up for it. We’ve equipped you with some language basics, introduced you to the local cuisine…now lets see where that can get you! You’re free to organise any adventure you care to, or simply chill ahead of the volunteer work. We can offer advice on where to go, if you need it.

Construction & Renovation Project

In this program, you would be participating in laying bricks, doing carpentry, painting, laying tiles and landscaping/gardening. A local coordinator will provide guidance and training alongside local families.

By participating in this social project, you will make a difference in the local community by helping in improving their living conditions. You would be in an artistic and relaxed environment where you are in charge of renovating and creating drawings and paintings in several kindergartens and primary schools around Ubud. This activity is fun and it would support your creativity during the process.

Aims & Objectives

This project aims to reconnect the Balinese culture's strong human-environment bond by teaching children environmental education through fun, hands-on experiences. Participants plan campaigns in the morning and visit Ubud-area schools in the afternoon.

What are the meals like?

Awesome news for you - Balinese cuisine is simply delicious! You'll be treated to a buffet-style meal twice daily, plus breakfast to kickstart your day. But don't worry, there are plenty of other food options around or just an order away.

Here's what you can typically expect on your plate:

  • Rice, accompanied by fresh veggies and sometimes tempeh or tofu.
  • Nasi goreng, a tasty combo of fried rice and veggies.
  • Mie goreng, featuring savoury fried noodles and veggies.
  • Gado gado, a delightful medley of mixed veggies with a mouthwatering satay sauce.
