NZeTA Required for Most Travellers
If you’re from the UK, USA, Canada, or most EU countries, you don’t need a full visa. But you do need to apply for an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) before flying.
What Is the NZeTA?
The NZeTA allows you to visit for up to 90 days (or 6 months if you’re from the UK). It’s valid for multiple visits over a 2-year period and usually takes less than 72 hours to be approved.
How to Apply
- Apply online or via the official NZeTA mobile app
- Pay a small fee plus a tourism levy (IVL)
- Have your passport and travel plans ready
